In the event of an emergency evacuation, the continuous ringing of the alarm bell will sound. All staff and students must stop whatever they are doing, leave their belongings behind, move speedily, quietly and in an orderly manner.

All staff and students should take the nearest available staircase to get to ground level. They are then to use the emergency evacuation routes to go to the assembly area (Terraces for HS; Field for College).

The subject teacher who is in the class at the time when the alarm is raised will accompany the students to the assembly area. Form teachers/ Class mentors/ Civics tutors will then proceed to take the attendance of their classes.

Should there be no teacher in the class; the class chairman will be responsible for bringing the class to the assembly area. He will take the attendance of the class if his form teacher i/c is absent. He is then to report to his level SC/ Coordinator.

Form teachers/ Class mentors/ Civics tutors are to report to the Level i/cs about their class attendance.

The SOP for emergency procedures apply.

Form teachers/ Class mentors/ Civics tutors are entrusted with the task of briefing their classes on the evacuation procedure and putting up the evacuation route map on the class noticeboards. They are to inform their classes that the emergency evacuation exercise should be treated seriously. There should not be any talking, pushing or running.
