Message from the Organising Secretary

Dear freshmen,

   Welcome to Hwa Chong! Please be informed that the Secondary One Orientation this year will be held over three days from 4th January 2010 (Monday) to 6th January 2010 (Wednesday). The theme for this year's orientation is "Ignite, Drive". This fun-filled three-day event will be packed with exciting and enriching activities to help you familiarise yourselves with your new environment. It is also designed to help you integrate into the Hwa Chong family, starting you off on a rewarding and fulfilling journey. See you there soon!

*P.S. - Day 4 (7 Jan, Thursday) is Induction and Consortium Orientation.

Day 5 (8 Jan, Friday) - NO ACTIVITY. Students need not come to school.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ACADEMIC YEAR 2010 STARTS ON 11 JAN 2010 (MONDAY).

Things to take note:

  1. Day 1, 2 and 3: Report and register in front of Kah Kee Hall, at 0730 hours.
    Attire: Hwa Chong PE T-shirt with khaki shorts
    (Please bring along an extra Hwa Chong PE attire and shorts for wet activity.)
  2. Please have a light breakfast before coming to school.
  3. Lunch will be on your own at the school canteen. Bring approximately $5 each day.
  4. Bring a water bottle (at least a litre) to ensure that you drink sufficient water and hydrate yourself.
  5. Wear comfortable school/sports shoes (no sandals and slippers). No ankle socks allowed.
  6. In case of emergency, please contact the school administration at 6466 5912.
