• OSA / ARE Awards Information

The All-Round Excellence (ARE) and Outstanding Student Award (OSA) celebrate the pinnacle of student achievement after 4 years of High School education.

In line with the institution's Total Development Model, The ARE award is the premiere award presented to students who have not only achieved academic excellence in a rigorous and challenging Integrated Programme(IP), but also mastered and demonstrated the finer points of Adversity Quotient (AQ), Intellectual Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Moral Quotient (MQ). Students presented with the ARE award possess qualities of leadership, passion, resilience and compassion. They serve as true role models for their peers.

The prestigious OSA award recognizes academic achievement in a rigorous and challenging Integrated Programme (IP). Students presented with the OSA award have demonstrated qualities of independence, initiative, resilience, and excellence in their academic studies.

• ARE Criteria

- MSG: Less than or equal to 1.3
- CIP: At least 100 hrs (accumulated Sec 1 to Sec 4)
- CCA: A1 grade at the end of Sec 4
- Projects: High Distinction in any of the following years: Sec 2, Sec 3 or 4.
- Conduct Grade: A in ALL 4 years
- Leadership: To have served & contributed to the school in a significant leadership capacity

• OSA Criteria

- MSG: Less than or equal to 1.5
- CIP: At least 80 hrs (accumulated sec 1 to sec 4)
- CCA: A2 grade or better at the end of Sec 4)
- Projects: At least a Distinction in any of the following years: Sec 2, Sec 3 or Sec 4.
- Conduct Grade: A in Sec 3 and Sec 4
