OPSG - Ortus Parents Support Group
The Ortus Parent Support Group (OPSG) was started in 2004, with the aim to provide an avenue for parents to receive and/or give support to parents. It is mainly run by parents themselves. It is a group of parents for parents.
Through the OPSG, it is hoped that parents would have opportunities to network with other parents, possibly leading to: - Sharing of parenting tips - Organising talks or workshops in parenting skills, e.g., effective communication with teenagers, maximising potentials or handling issues such as computer addiction; - Organising get-togethers for and with parents and students in Ortus to enhance bonding.
From 2008, all parents of Ortus students will automatically become a member of OPSG. We would like to extend our invitation to you to join the OPSG Executive Committee (Exco). If you would like to join, to find out more about OPSG or to take part in the planning and organisation of any activities, please feel free to email Ms Linda Goh at lindagoh@hotmail.com.
