Integrated Programme
For students on IP, the students will be engaged in teacher-made written tests and examinations as well as a variety of alternative assessments through activities that enhances curriculum (ACE). In addition, students would be assessed on their active class oral participation during lessons.

Class Tests

Sec 3 and 4:
6 tests per academic year

Activities initiated by students and/or teachers that enhances the learning of mathematics: Book review, investigative work, inquiry learning, IT-related activities, resources pages, math related sabbatical, etc.

End-of-year Examinations

Sec 3:
One 2.5-hour paper, calculator is allowed

Sec 4:
Two 2.5-hour papers, calculator is allowed in both papers, selected topics from Sec 3 will be included

Students in Sec 3 who achieved A1 in both Formative Assessment and ACE by end of Term 3 will be recommended for exemption from the end-of-year examination.

For ACE, the students would have a choice to decide on the types of activities that they would want to do and they would be assessed according to the corresponding rubrics. Click on this link to access more information. ACE
