Foreword

Dear Parents,

In line with the school’s values and mission, Hwa Chong Institution – iSpark Parent Support Group (HCI - PSG 2008) was formed to develop multiple parent-teacher relationships in promoting varied activities. PSG 2008 will be tasked to create a platform for parents and teachers to work together for the benefit of our boys. While it is usually difficult to convince parents to come forward to support the school organized projects, we really need to put aside other commitments due to our dedication to provide the best educational experiences for our children. With this right objective in mind, we believe that there will be greater synergy in promoting meaningful education for our boys.

I am greatly encouraged and impressed by the level of support and commitments shown by the parents of PSG 2008. With the continual support of all members and the total success of our recent first PSG Nite 2008 and many exciting and meaningful events planned in the pipeline, I dare say that PSG 2008 will only grow from strength to strength.

As we move on, the PSG 2008 website will help to further engage more parents in supporting our events ahead to provide the best for our boys in all directions. I will encourage parents to make full use of the website not just to obtain information of upcoming activities and happenings but also providing valuable feedbacks. I urged parents to come forward and join us, in actively involved and support the PSG’s effort to bring the best abilities and character out from our boys.
