Thank you everyone for making 15th SLC such a success!

What is SLC?

The Student Leaders Convention (SLC) is an annual convention organised and hosted by Hwa Chong Institution (High School). Since its inauguration in 1995, SLC has evolved from a one-day seminar to a four-day convention. This year, the 15th SLC is jointly organised by Nanyang Girls' High School, and is held from the 2nd to the 5th of June. Apart from providing a platform for youth leaders from different cultures to interact, SLC also hopes to provide an enriching and memorable experience for each and every one of them. Through equipping youth leaders with problem solving, team building and interpersonal skills, it is wished that the participants have the prudence to face the problems of today and to help nurture them to be the future leaders of the world.

As with the tradition of inviting a Guest of Honour to provide invaluable advice and insight for this event, this year Minister Lim Hwee Hwa has kindly accepted to be the Guest of Honour. She has been a Member of Parliament since 1996 and is also currently the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance and Transport.
