NUS was ranked 30th in the world and 3rd in Asia in the Times Higher Education Supplement-Quacquarelli Symonds (THES-QS) University Rankings 2009. NUS continued to fare well in the major disciplines. It is top in Asia for Life Sciences & Biomedicine and Social Sciences, taking the 12th and 20th spots respectively in the world ranking for these disciplines. NUS also emerged second among Asian universities for Technology and Arts & Humanities while ranked 10th and 21st in the world respectively. The University remained within the world’s top 25 for Natural Sciences.

NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering

The NUS Graduate School is a university-wide endeavour aimed at spearheading world-class trans-disciplinary graduate education and research in science, engineering and related aspects of medicine.

Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore

GMS is a partnership between NUS and Duke University to produce a new breed of physician-scientists for the biomedical sciences sector. It is located at the Outram campus site.
