This unit provides an introduction to quantitative research methods in education and psychology. Topics to be covered include: survey research methods, constructing variables, the cognitive and affective domains, the notion of measurement, establishing reliability and validity, and the analysis of quantitative data. In addition, students will be required to construct a brief questionnaire to measure a variable in the affective domain.
