All teachers in Hwa Chong Institution are eligible for the Computer Notebook Subsidy Scheme for Teachers (CNSST). This scheme offers teachers a subsidy of up to 40% of the cost of the computer notebook. The quantum of the subsidy will not be more than S$1,400.00.

Teachers who are successful with their application for the school's computer subsidy scheme will not be provided with a computer from the school. They will instead use the notebook that they have purchased under the CNSST to access the network, the Internet and perform all teaching and administrative functions.

This scheme will only provide subsidy for the purchase of the computer notebook and does not include computer desktops or printers.

Other non-teaching staff members can also take advantage of the special pricing for notebooks on offer to the school. However, they are not eligible for the CNSST.

All direct staff are also eligible to apply for the school's 'no interest' loan to purchase computer desktop or notebook. The three year lapse period between each loan application will apply.

Should any staff member wish to purchase computer notebook under any of the schemes mentioned in (1) and/or (2), please download and print the relevant forms as shown below:

(a)    Computer Subsidy Form
(b)    Computer Loan Form

Submit them, duly completed to either Ms Yeo Hwee Joo, Dean/Studies or Mrs Tan Ai Chin, Dean/RS for processing.
